International Medical Corps / Resource Development Officer Grantwriter

Position Summary & Responsibilities: Manages the Raiser's Edge database, including: Oversees gift processing & constituent management to ensure quality control standards are consistently met. Supervises data entry performed by 2 Database Officers. Also supervises volunteers and interns assisting with database tasks. Ensures timely and accurate production of all acknowledgement letters; Oversees generation of mailing lists for all mailings and solicitations; Oversees database maintenance and upgrades; Serves as primary liaison to Blackbaud regarding functionality of Raiser's Edge database (upgrades, outages, etc.) Develops, schedules and performs database maintenance and upgrades; Produces fundraising reports for VPIA and DRD on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-to-date schedule. Produces fundraising reports for other departments, as requested; Assist Finance staff with regularly scheduled reconciliation; Serves as primary contact for donations received via Wire Transfers (EFT) and gifts of Stock; Supports other activities within the department, including the occasional generation of PR materials and the development and implementation of fundraising events; and Perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, Extensive experience with fundraising databases required, experience with Raiser's Edge a plus; Experience with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports or Microsoft Reports a plus; Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) database experience. Database Manager or Systems Administrator level preferred.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work and think under pressure in multi-tasked, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment; Ability to problem solve and handle database exceptions; Superior written and oral communication skills; Keen eye for detail with exceptional proofreading skills; Superior organizing abilities.
