Cal Poly Pomona / Director of Development

Director of Development for the College of Science We are looking for a seasoned, performance-driven development officer for our College of Science with a proven track record of securing major gifts from a variety of constituents.

Qualified professionals will be a key player in the public phase of our $150 million Campaign for Cal Poly Pomona. This is an opportunity for you to be a part of an exciting, transformative era at one of the best public universities in the Western United States. The Campaign quiet phase included the largest cash gift in the history of The California State University system and one of the largest and prestigious in the country this year. We are led by an ambitious fund raising President and experienced senior advancement managers. This position is part of a centralized development team that reports to the Associate Vice President of University Development and works together with the college's dean and faculty on a daily basis. The College of Science offers majors in 10 fields and has pre-professional programs for students entering medical, dental, veterinary and other health careers. The college offers an undergraduate major in biotechnology which is the only one in the CSU and one of few in California. The former winter home of cereal magnate, W.K. Kellogg, our 1,400 acre campus is one of the most beautiful green settings in Southern California, home to more than 21,000 students and a herd of over 100 of Mr. Kellogg's beloved Arabian horses.
