2021-2022 Partnership Prospectus

The Los Angeles Council of Charitable Gift Planners celebrates its 41st year in supporting the vital work of non-profits through education, networking, and advocacy to help improve planned giving programs and client services for local, regional, and national organizations.

Our strength comes from the wide range of our regional members, including gift officers, attorneys, CPAs, wealth managers, and other trusted advisors. With over 160 members and a network of nearly 4,000 gift planning professionals who have engaged with our educational content, LACGP creates a unique community of Southern California professionals, encompassing the Inland Empire, Orange County, and Greater Los Angeles.

Nevertheless, our important work dedicated to the field would not be possible without the invaluable support of Council Partners like you. Partnership directly enhances our educational offerings, while also increasing access and building new connections between attendees and partnering organizations. We ask you to consider joining our community by supporting our programming and activities in the 2021- 2022 year as a Council Partner. While we have recently utilized an event-based partnership model, the pandemic brought LACGP closer to our partners and we learned that we could help you in budgeting for your partnership while also better highlighting the insights and expertise of our partners throughout the year.

This is your opportunity to be one of our recognized Council Partners, supporting the introductory planned giving seminars PG101 and PG201, regular Mini Round Table conversations for peer-to-peer sharing, webinars, general membership meetings throughout the year, social events, and our popular Western Regional Planned Giving Conference.

About LACGP Council Partnerships

The Board Members of the LACGP have embraced the moment of opportunity provided by the pandemic to reimagine our partnership program. Specifically, the relationships LACGP has built over the years with its sponsors are not simply transactional, but indicative of a true partnership.

As such, our recognition and benefits now reflect this relationship by acknowledging our partners throughout the entire fiscal year, instead of just at our annual conference. By broadening our digital content, event programming, and recognition opportunities, your partnership will support the diverse and inclusive work that we provide to all our members throughout the year. We welcome you to join us for this newly expanded opportunity.

LACGP’s Signature Event:
Western Regional Planned Giving Conference

May 25 - 27, 2022

Over the past 30 years, the Western Regional Planned Giving Conference (WRPGC) has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the most stimulating and worthwhile educational opportunities for gift planning and allied professionals. From advanced charitable gift planning techniques and best practices in nonprofit websites to leadership strategies for inculcating diversity in our organizations, WRPGC 2021 was a roaring success – but we need your help to make WRPGC 2022 even better.

After virtual conferences in 2020 and 2021, we are excited to return to an in-person experience on The Future of Fundraising! The 31st Annual WRPGC will take place May 25-27, 2022 at the Westin South Coast Plaza, Costa Mesa. As one of the largest regional planned giving conferences in the country, this annual gathering of more than 300 non-profit gift planners and allied professionals is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for your organization or company to connect with and receive the undivided attention of key decision-makers and gift planning leaders across Southern California and the Western United States.

We are pleased that the new Council Partnership model will allow our conference team to work closely with partners to identify both opportunities to share their expertise with attendees and an ideal fit for partner introductions of speakers. Looking at the benefits table, you will see that we have worked to identify ways for LACGP Council Partners to connect with and engage attendees in meaningful ways at WRPGC and beyond.
