President's Message

Our Western Regional Planned Giving Conference this past June was a great success. The quality of the speakers and programs and the sheer volume of information continue to prove it is one of the leading Planned Giving conferences in the world. We could not have pulled this off without our fearless conference co-chairs Stephanie Buckley and Mary O'Hare, the Board members' hard work behind the scenes, various PPP - LA members who volunteered throughout the event, our dependable administrators at Sterling Strategic Management, the financial support and generosity of our sponsors, and  most importantly the critical presence of the people who attended.
 
The 2011 conference showed a 54% increase in attendance.  What is notable is that two-thirds of the attendees were non-members of PPP - LA. This indicates that the thirst for planned giving among nonprofit organizations is alive and growing.
