Our History
The Planned Giving Round Table of Southern California, PGRT-SC, is a community increasing philanthropy through charitable gift planning. We are governed by a Board of Directors with various committee members.

Founded in 1980, the PGRT-SC was one of the first planned giving associations in this country and provided the blueprint for the many others that have formed since.  Its early mission was to serve the educational and networking needs of the planned giving professional from San Diego to Santa Barbara.  As one of the largest councils affiliated with the National Committee on Planned Giving (NCPG), the PGRT-SC continues to be one of the most dynamic and innovative councils in the country. Today, the PGRT-SC maintains an active membership base of 300 gift planning professionals from the greater Los Angeles area. In addition to the five general meetings each year, the PGRT-SC hosts the popular Western Regional Planned Giving Conference and the PG101 introductory planned giving seminar.
